| Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - The Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday claimed infielder Tommy Manzella off waivers from the Houston Astros and immediately optioned him to Triple-A Reno. The 28-year-old was hitting .230 with seven home runs, 14 doubles and 48 RBI in 109 games with Houston's Triple-A affiliate in Oklahoma City.
